As spotted in the forums , if you are on TELUS and fanatical about running nothing but a carrier released OS you can now get your hands on OS 5.0.0.442.

We’ve been waiting to see exactly how this one turned out for everyone. But as most of you know the past few days for Verizon Storm 2 owners have been rather interesting. BerryScoop got tipped the news about the possibility of Verizon being reissued Storm 2 devices due to a screen issue.

What a great start to the day. We’ve known for some time this OS was floating around out there, even heard that this one had hit “Gold Candidate” for release to carriers. Now, thanks to a CrackBerry forums member who wished to remain anonymous you can now check out the release yourself.

  Just last week Sprint released OS 5.0.0.484 for Tour users through Desktop Manager, and today it has finally made its way online for download. The latest 5.0 OS for the Tour 9630 can now be downloaded from the BlackBerry Software Downloads page for those of you who didn’t already grab it elsewhere. The install will work if you have a Tour on another carrier as well, just be sure to delete the vendor.xml file before trying to update.

Its been quite slow on the OS front these days but here is a little something for all you BlackkBerry Curve 8530 owners out there to check out. OS  5.0.0.463 was leaked not too long by the folks over at BBLeaks . If you have nothing better to do today, might as well fire up app loader and check it out

I don’t think we have seen a device have this many colors since the days of RIM releasing the BlackBerry Pearl and BlackBerry Curve 83xx series in a whole rainbow of colors. Rogers stores are getting geared up for the release of the white BlackBerry Curve 8520 as noted by Kyle over at BlackBerryCool . All together that means Rogers will have the 8520 in three colors

Boost Mobile officially launched the Curve 8330 a few days ago, and the forums are blowing up with some great news. It looks like the device is being shipped with OS version 5.0.0.438. This is an added bonus for new Boost users, while 8330 holders on other carriers are clamming to get their hands on an official 5.0 OS.

With 2009 a memory and 2010 now upon us, I have been seeing a ton of forum posts, tweets and emails from BlackBerry owners wondering when handheld device software version 5.0 will become officially available for their device.
