As it turns out, the files needed for that new data plan using push to talk features has been turning up in the past two OS leaks for Tour owners. And from info gathered in the forums, Verizon is seemingly not really trying hard to hide it from end users either

  • BlackBerry Bold 9650 Launch Rumored in May 2010
By BlackBerryCool on March 12th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

There is a rumor that the BlackBerry Bold 9650, which we originally thought was going to be the Tour2 9650, will launch in May of this year . There is a lot of speculation about why RIM chose to go with the Bold 9650 versus the Tour brand, and most likely it’s because owners of the Tour 9630 would harbor some resentment that an update to their device came out so soon after they purchased their BlackBerry. To mitigate this possible PR disaster, RIM marketing have decided to go with the Bold label.

One of the value propositions of BES Express was that corporate users would be able to use their BIS data plans on a BES, thus saving the company money on data plans and a BES license. By BlackBerryCool on March 10th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

Verizon have begun to push their Skype Mobile services on YouTube , and while the video doesn’t reveal anything new about the product, it’s good to see that things are moving forward. Verizon claims the call quality will be excellent, and messaging will be an integral part of the service. Hopefully Verizon haven’t locked Skype down from doing business with other carriers, as I know many other BlackBerry users in Canada and on other providers would love to get their hands on this service
