Elecite have launched a new theme called Ember for the Curve 8900, Bold 9000 and 9700, Storm 9500, and Tour 9600. Ember is a dark theme with 6-7 customizable icons, a weather slot, 9-11 locked “block” icons and a Today Preview area for the 8900, 9500, 9600 and 9700 devices. Check out the Ember theme from Elecite

It looks like Verizon will be bringing Curve 8530 users a special treat coming soon. We got our hands on a PDF that shows an update to OS 5.0.0.508 is on the way. No exact date is mentioned for the release, but it should be within the next week or two. I’m not positive but I’m pretty sure that’s a BlackBerry Curve 8900 from T-Mobile and according to the owner, it has 4,150 diamonds (30.51 carats) and it’s wrapped in 18K gold . The price tag on the phone is over $200,000 USD but there doesn’t seem to be any info on where to buy
