In an effort to give us all a better feel for the BlackBerry Slider aka 9700a, the folks over at BBLeaks have got some more pics for us to gaze over. These pics give us a look at the back end of the device as well as give us a size idea by being compared to a BlackBerry Curve 8900.

Go Daddy has just released a free mobile app that allows you to keep up with all your domains right from your BlackBerry. You can search for and register domains, manage current domains, access Mobile Mail, manage email and hosting options and more.

New from Swoosh Software is PhotoNote . The handy app allows you to easily take photos on your device and add quick notes to them. To start just fire up the app, then choose New Note.

As has been rumored before and stated many times since on the blogs and in the forums, this update device to the original Tour (which now has WiFi, optical trackpad and more) won’t be released as a Tour but rather as a Bold, so any doubters can take this new user guide as one more piece of evidence. Is Verizon set to offer Push To Talk to its BlackBerry Tour 9630 users? BGR reports that it has been tipped off by an insider who says an OS 5.0 upgrade for the Tour 9630 will hit in 2 3 weeks. Along with the upgrade will come Push To Talk on Verizon’s network.

There is a rumor that the BlackBerry Bold 9650, which we originally thought was going to be the Tour2 9650, will launch in May of this year . There is a lot of speculation about why RIM chose to go with the Bold 9650 versus the Tour brand, and most likely it’s because owners of the Tour 9630 would harbor some resentment that an update to their device came out so soon after they purchased their BlackBerry. To mitigate this possible PR disaster, RIM marketing have decided to go with the Bold label.

Back at the BlackBerry Developer Conference, in the Experts Zone, there was a giant Tour 9630 made of LEGO bricks. It turns out that the BlackBerry was designed by a professional LEGO artist (yes, they exist) named Nathan Sawaya

One of the value propositions of BES Express was that corporate users would be able to use their BIS data plans on a BES, thus saving the company money on data plans and a BES license. It turns out Verizon will be requiring all users on BES Express to upgrade their data plan to the corporate rate
